"Joell worked hard and really developed into a nice player during his one year at Tallahassee Community College. He thrived in the `sixth man' role for the Eagles and brought versatility to the forward position, playing both on the perimeter and in the low post. He has the ability to present matchup problems for other teams - he can out-quick the larger defenders and out-muscle the smaller ones. Regardless of where he played, he was always in position to finish around the rim," said TCC head coach Eddie Barnes.
