2001-02 Season
*  2001-02 Season Averages: A career-high 6.4 rebounds (first on 
   the team), 8.1 points (fourth), shot a career-high .494 from 
   the field (third) and a career-high 17.6 minutes (tied for 
   fifth) as the Seminoles’ starting center for the second 
   consecutive season.
*  Ranked fourth in the ACC with a career-high 3.36 offensive 
   rebounds per game average.
*  Enjoyed his best season statistically as he set career-highs 
   for minutes played (492), field goals made (89), field goals 
   attempted (180), free throws made (50), free throws attempted
   (101), offensive rebounds (94), total rebounds (180), steals 
   (eight) and points scored (228).
*  Established single game career-highs for points (28), field 
   goals made (13), field goals attempted (18) and offensive 
   rebounds (7), while tying his career-high for assists (one) 
   and steals (two) against Elon (Nov. 23).
*  A career-high 13 rebounds against the Clemson (March 7)
*  Totaled 12 rebounds in Florida State’s monumental victory 
   over No. 1 ranked a previously undefeated Duke (Jan. 6) in 
   Tallahassee.
*  Scored in double-figures a career-high 10 times including six 
   of the last seven games.
*  Averaged a near double-double of 13.0 points and 9.3 rebounds 
   over the final seven games of the season.  Among those 
   outings were three double-doubles against ACC competition 
   (including two against National Champion Maryland).
*  Double figure scoring in five consecutive ACC games to close 
   out the regular season (against North Carolina, Virginia, 
   Clemson, Maryland and Georgia  Tech) to average 13.8 points 
   per game.
*  First career ACC double-double (15 points and 10 rebounds) 
   came against Virginia (Feb. 20) as the Seminoles defeated the 
   No.15 ranked Cavaliers.  Second career ACC double-double (15 
   points and 10 rebounds) came against Maryland (Feb. 27).  A 
   third ACC double/double (13 points and 12 rebounds) against 
   the Terps (March 8) in the ACC Tournament.

2000-01 Season * 2000-01 Season Averages: 6.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 14.7 minutes in 29 games played (21 starts). * First career assist came against Binghamton on Dec. 21.

1999-00 Season * 1999-00 Season Averages: 1.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 28 games played during his inaugural collegiate season. * Season-high 12 points came against Duke on Feb. 16.

On Dixon * Two-year starter at the center position for the Seminoles who started a career-high 22 games and averaged career-high numbers in points (8.1 ppg) and rebounds (6.4 rpg) as a junior. * Few players in the collegiate ranks rival his improvement during his three-year career. played at a career-low 340 pounds as a junior after entering Florida State at 420 pounds. Lost an incredible 80 pounds between his junior and senior seasons. “I ate a lot of chicken, turkey, rice and vegetables and crank a great deal of water,” said Dixon who waist size shrunk from 54 inches to 44. “I stayed away from soda, worked out every day and it (the weight) just steadily came off. I had to change my whole wardrobe. I threw a lot of clothes away.” * Has never played football and began playing basketball in the eighth grade. Despite never having played the game he was recruited by both Florida and Clemson to play football * Three-year varsity letterwinner in basketball at Edgewater High School. Did not play football in high school. * Guided Edgewater to the state title game as a junior as team recorded a 30-5 record.
