ON BOLTON: Joined the Seminole men's basketball in the summer of 2007 and is in his second season as a member of the team...earned a varsity letter after appearing in four games during the 2007-08 season...an hard working player who works hard as a member of the Florida State's scout team in preparing the Seminoles for their upcoming opponents...scored his first career basket in the Seminoles' victory over Georgia State on Nov. 20, 2007...a hard-working, well thought of player who will add depth at the guard position for the Seminoles...invited to join the team at Florida State and began working out with the team during the summer of 2007...earned All-State 6A First-Team honors as a senior and established five school records - including the mark for career points scored - during his four-year varsity career.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Averaged 0.8 points (13th on the team) and 0.8 rebounds (13th) while playing in four games during his first season as a member of the Seminole men's basketball team...earned playing time in non-conference games victories over Nicholls State (Nov. 9), Georgia State (Nov. 20), Stetson (Nov. 30) and Maine (Dec. 8)...made the first basket of his career - a 3-point shot - in the Seminoles' victory over Georgia State...his second half basket against the Panthers gave the Seminoles their final margin of victory at 78-48...pulled down his career-high of two rebounds (one offensive and one defensive) in Florida State's victory over Georgia State...also added a rebound in Florida State's victory over Stetson...earned his career-high of three minutes of playing time in the Seminoles' win over Maine...attempted a career-high two shots against both Georgia State and Maine...
AT WINTER PARK: Graduated from Winter Park High School in 2007...earned All-State First-Team honors in Class 6A by the Florida Sports Writers Association as he averaged a near double-double of 19.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals as a senior...named to the All-Central Florida First-Team along with current teammate Solomon Alabi in 2006...earned All-Metro First-Team honors by the Orlando Sentinel and district Player of the Year, also, his senior season...led Winter Park to a 27-5 record and into the semifinals of the 2007 state championship tournament...earned four-varsity letters as a member of the Wildcats...scored in double figures in 31 of Winter Park's 32 games during his senior season...scored his career-high of 42 points to go along with 12 rebounds, five steals and four assists against Fort Myers...also reached the 40-point plateau with 40 points in a 95-65 victory over Freedom...pulled down 13 rebounds in the victory over Freedom...pulled down double figures in 18 of Winter Park's 32 games in 2007 including his career-high of 18 rebounds against Edgewater as a senior...shot .425 percent from the field as a senior including .505 from two-point field goal range as in his final season...shoots well from the free throw line with a .737 mark from the line as a senior...totaled 18 double-doubles in averaging a near double-double for his entire senior season...earned multiple steals in 19 games including a career-high seven in the Wildcats' victory over Colonial during his senior season...a senior season-high 10 assists came twice - in victories over Timber Creek and Flagler Palm Coast...team captain as a junior and a senior...averaged 13 points and seven rebounds as a junior...team finished with a 28-5 record and advanced to the Class 6A state championship game...set five school records during his career: consecutive games played (121), games started (111), most points in a game (42 against Ft. Myers during his senior season), all-time leading career scorer (1,496 career points) and all-time career leading rebounder.
PERSONAL: Born Nov. 22, 1988...Jordan is the son of Melanie and David Bolton...graduated with a 3.5 grade point average and as a member of the National Honor Society...an older brother, Kyle, lives in Tallahassee and attends Tallahassee Community College.
