TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Day two of the 2014 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft came to a close on Friday evening. After 10 rounds of picks, four Seminoles have been selected including Luke Weaver who was selected in the first round Thursday night.
FSU's day two draftees included Brandon Leibrandt (6th round, 172nd overall pick) by the Philadelphia Phillies, Peter Miller (9th round, 261st overall pick) by the Seattle Mariners and Justin Gonzalez (9th round, 270th overall pick) by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The 2014 MLB Draft will conclude on Saturday, June 7 with rounds 11-40. The picks get underway beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Brandon Leibrandt, Jr., LHP - 6th round (172nd overall pick), Philadelphia Phillies
"At the time of the announcement, I was with my mom, dad and brother. Out of everyone I think my mom was the most excited. She went a little crazy, so I had to calm her down. But overall, I just couldn't have asked for anything more."
Peter Miller, Sr., RHP - 9th round (261st overall pick), Seattle Mariners
Justin Gonzalez, Sr., SS - 9th round (270th overall pick), Arizona Diamondbacks
