Tallahassee, Fla. - Florida State University announced the cancellation of Tuesday night's (May 8) baseball game against Jacksonville due to an over scheduling conflict.

NCAA rules limit Division I schools to play a 56-game regular season schedule. With 57 games on the 2007 schedule, game three against the Dolphins on Tuesday night has been cancelled.

Florida State returns home to face the Clemson Tigers for a three-game set beginning Friday, May 11 at Mike Martin Field. Game one is slated for 7:00 pm, while first pitch on Saturday and Sunday is set for 1:00 pm. Sunday is also senior day at the ball park.
