2014 Baseball TV Schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State Baseball will get a great opportunity to showcase this year's talent in front of a national audience as over 30 games will be televised nationally and/or regionally by ESPNU, ESPN3, CSS and RSN (Regional Sports Network) as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday, February 6.

As part of the ACC's enhanced television package with ESPN, Florida State will have 24 games on ESPN3 and one airing on ESPNU. Three more games will be carried on both CSS and ESPN3, while two will be televised on both RSN and ESPN3.

"It is always exciting for our guys to be seen across the country on national television," said head coach Mike Martin. "Being on TV does nothing but help us especially in terms of recruiting and it certainly gives the young men extra incentive when they are participating in this great game."

The television package features 22 games against ACC opponents including two non-conference games against Miami in Tallahassee. Eight more non-conference games will also be televised as the Seminoles will play Niagara, Georgia, Florida and Minnesota. Fans will get their first chance to see the 2014 Seminoles right off the bat on Friday, February 14 when Florida State faces Niagara at 4:00 p.m. on opening day in a game airing on ESPN3.

ESPNU will be inside Dick Howser Stadium on April 6 to televise Sunday's series finale featuring Florida State and ACC newcomer Notre Dame at 12 noon. The Regional Sports Network (RSN) will broadcast the middle games of the Georgia Tech series in Atlanta on April 12 (2:00 p.m.) and then the North Carolina series in Chapel Hill on May 10 (1:00 p.m.).

CSS and ESPN3 will cover the final game of the Clemson series (March 23) and then games one and three at Georgia Tech on April 11 and 13, respectively.

In addition, all 15 games of the ACC Championship will be televised live for the seventh straight year. The first five days of the tournament, set for May 20 through May 24 at the NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, N.C., will be carried by RSN and ESPN3. The championship game, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, will be telecast nationally on ESPN2.

RSN includes FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolina, FOX Sports Florida, Sun Sports, Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, NESN, ROOT Sports Pittsburgh, YES Network, and MSG Network. All ACC games produced as part of the RSN package will also be available on ESPN3 in locations beyond the RSN territory.
