Game two of the 2012 NCAA Tallahassee Super Regional began with the first pitch thrown at 7:06 p.m. ET.
Jake Stewart's leadoff single in the bottom of the first inning marked a 12-game hitting streak ... Stephen Piscotty's four hits gave him 22 multiple-hit games this year ... it was Piscotty's third four-hit performance of the season ... Austin Wilson's infield RBI single in the third inning was his 52nd RBI of the year, the second-most on the team ... he added his 53rd run driven in on an RBI double in the bottom of the seventh ... Wilson also had a solo home run in the eighth for his 54th RBI ... Stanford recorded 11 base hits against FSU starter Mike Compton, which is a career high allowed by the freshman right-hander ... Stanford finished its year 27-2 when scoring seven or more runs in a game, with their only other loss being an 8-7 defeat against Arizona on March 30.

Sherman Johnson's three-run homer in the second inning was his fourth of the year and his sixth career postseason jack ... Seth Miller's grand slam in the eighth inning was his third of the season, with all three home runs being grand slams ... it is FSU's seventh grand slam of the year ...
