2002 AS A JUNIOR: Finished second on the team behind Daniel Hodges with a 2.93 ERA...went a season-long 2.2 innings vs. Stanford ...only allowed five earned runs all season (15.1 innings) ...had just two appearances since March 23 to end the season...opponents had only five hits over his last 11 out-ings... struck out a season-high two batters four separate times in relief work...had a 2.84 ERA vs. non-conference opponents.

2001: Redshirted.

2000 AS A SOPHOMORE: Appeared in 25 games and allowed a team-low five earned runs…held opponents to a .227 batting average…third on the team wth an ERA of 2.14...earned a save in one inning of scoreless relief against Western Kentucky (1/29)…worked one scoreless inning to pick up a save at Arizona State (2/4)…got the win at Arizona State on 2/6, going 1.2 innings without allowing a run and striking out three…did not give up a run in two relief appearances against No. 1 Stanford …worked a scoreless ninth for a save at Virginia (4/1)…did not allow a run in three appearances (three innings) against Miami …last appearance of the season came against Clemson in ACC Tournament on 5/18.

1999 AS A FRESHMAN: Emerged as one of the top clos-ers on the team...totaled 60 strikeouts overall in just 39.1 innings pitched...earned his first collegiate win in relief vs. Arizona St. on 2/7...struck out a career-high 10 batters against Jacksonville (4/7), while giving up two earned runs and four hits in 5.0 innings...credited with the save after striking out the final five batters in FSU’s 8-2 win over Miami (4/16)...picked up his second save of the season at Georgia Tech on 5/2...gave up two earned runs on one hit vs. Clemson in the ACC Tournament in 1.1 innings pitched...worked 1.2 innings, gave up one earned run and struck out four in NCAA Regional vs. Providence...made three appearances in the College World Series...relieved Blair Varnes in the national championship game against Miami and did not allow a hit or a run over two innings, holding the Hurricanes in check as FSU attempted a late rally.

PREP: Named Florida Premier High School Baseball Player...selected an all-tournament team member at the ACRO AM/PM National Classic Tournament ...helped lead Leon to the 5A State Championship...garnered Leon High’s MVP honors ...earned 1st Team All-Big Bend honors and 3rd team all-state honors as a senior...was an honorable mention selection to the All-Big Bend team in his junior year...a Merit Scholar...also mem-ber of the AAU National Championship Tournament bronze medalist team and CABA World Series Championship team.

PERSONAL: Born on October 28, 1979...lists Nolan Ryan as his favorite accounting major...a three-time member of the ACC Honor Roll.
