2011: Made 18 appearances with eight starts in his sophomore campaign...finished the year 4-2 with a one save and a 5.92 ERA...tallied 51.2 innings with 33 strikeouts...first start of the season came against VMI throwing 6.0 shutout innings allowing four hits and no walks while striking out a career-high five batters in picking up the win...pitched 5.0 innings of one run, four hit baseball against Florida in Tampa to earn his second win of the season...earned no decisions over his next three starts (at Georgia, Boston College, and at Virginia) throwing a combined 19.0 innings with seven strikeout and just three walks en route to posting a 3.79 ERA...hurled a career-high 7.0 innings in the middle game in Charlottesville...threw 15.0 innings in 10 relief appearances...yielded a run or less in seven of those outings...pitched in the ACC Championship game against Virginia in Durham...shut down Alabama in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional throwing 4.0 shutout innings allowing just two hits while striking out three to earn his first career save...picked up the win with 4.0 innings of work against Texas A&M in the NCAA Super Regionals...struck out four against the Aggies to force a decisive game three in the series.

2010: Freshman right-hander finished fifth on the team with six starts out of 17 appearances...finished with a 5-0 record and 3.76 ERA...held opponents to a .207 batting average - tops on the team for any pitcher with more than one start...struck out 27 over 40.2 innings...made his collegiate debut against Georgia State (2/20) and worked a scoreless ninth inning, registering a pickoff in his first game...picked up his first victory in FSU's come-from-behind victory in game 1 at North Carolina...pitched a scoreless eighth, retiring the side with a strikeout...surrendered his first runs of the season in a midweek appearance against Stetson, yielding three runs on two hits in 1.0 innings...put in 4.1 shutout innings of relief work in game 1 vs. Virginia Tech; his longest stint out of the bullpen...struck out three Hokies...made his first career start against North Florida (4/7) and picked up the victory with 6.0 innings of two-hit, shutout ball...followed up with his second start against Florida (4/13) and once again worked 6.0 innings to earn the victory...scattered four hits and yielded two runs (one earned) while matching his season-high for strikeouts for the second consecutive game...moved into the weekend starting rotation on April 25 against Miami...bounced back with 5.0 innings of one-hit work against LeMoyne and moved to 4-0...picked up his fifth win grinding through 6.0 innings at Boston College, scattering seven hits and allowing three runs...finished the season by making five relief appearances...did not allow a run over that stretch, spanning 6.0 innings...tossed 1.1 shutout innings with two strikeouts against Boston College in the ACC Tournament, which helped put the Seminoles in the title game...came up with 0.2 scoreless innings in game 2 of the Super Regional against Vanderbilt...made two, scoreless one-inning appearances against TCU in his first College World Series.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball all four years at Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach, FL...earned first team all-conference and third team all-state honorable mention as a senior...went 9-2 with a 1.25 ERA with 118 strikeouts in 13 games as a junior in 2008.
