2004: Missed the season due to shoulder surgery...is expected
to be back at full strength and contribute in 2005.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2003): Finished seventh in the ACC with
a 1.57 earned run average...was used in both starting and reliev-ing
roles...picked up his first career win after working seven score-less
innings, while only allowing three hits and striking out four
against Siena (3/6)...earned win No. 2 against St. Joseph's (3/12)
after pitching 5.0 innings, striking out five and allowing just three
hits...gave up two runs in five innings with five strikeouts in pick-ing
up his third win of the season vs. The Citadel (3/26)...pitched
two scoreless innings of relief vs. Clemson (4/11)...worked one
scoreless inning vs. Miami (4/26) and allowed one hit...pitched
one scoreless inning of relief at Duke (5/16) with two
strikeouts...started vs. Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament and
gave up two runs on four hits in four innings (no-decision)...started
vs. South Alabama in the NCAA Regional (6/1) and allowed just
one unearned run on one hit in 2.2 innings...only allowed one hit
and struck out one in one inning of work against Texas (6/8).

earned All-Conference honors as a junior...lettered in each of his
