HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year baseball and basketball varsity letter-winner and a one-year letter-winner in football at Neshannock High School...hit 22 career home runs...batted .661 as a junior and .597 (40 for 57) with 40 RBI, 34 runs scored, 12 doubles, six triples and seven home runs in his final year...earned All-State Pittsburgh Player of the Year honors as a senior...WPIAL Class A Player of the Year as a junior...member of section 3-A and WPIAL Class A championship teams...recipient of County Athlete of the Year accolades his senior year...garnered ESPN Rise Magazine honors...scored 915 career basketball points and earned All-Section honors...played quarterback and scored 10 touchdowns as a member of the football team...drafted in the 39th round by the Detroit Tigers in the 2012 MLB draft.
