2008: Did not compete for the Seminoles on the baseball diamond in 2008.

2007: A two sport athlete at Florida State playing both baseball and his first full season playing baseball, posted a .351 average and .481 slugging percentage in 131 at-bats...hit .462 against left handed pitchers, the highest average on the team, among players with 15 or more at-bats (24-of-52)...registered his first collegiate triple against Hofstra...blasted his first collegiate home run against the Gators in Gainesville, a moon shot over the left field bleachers, in a 14-6 Florida State victory...recorded his first three RBI and three run scored game of his career vs. Florida...started in center field in 20 straight games...made 28 total starts in center field as a freshman with four starts in left - his first in the third game against Florida, second in the series finale vs. Maryland and the final two in the first two games of the Tallahassee Regional...put together a season-high seven-game hit streak early in the season (2/24 - 3/9)...notched five three-hit games in 2007.

FOOTBALL (2006-08): Made 10 appearances in 2008...finished the season completing 52.3 percent of his passes (23-of-44) posting three touchdowns and three interceptions...threw for 315 yards...carried the ball 35 times for 254 yards including a season-long of 55 yards against Chattanooga...registered three rushing touchdowns on the game came in the season opener against Western Carolina as he scored twice on the ground and once through the air...played in three games as one of the Seminoles' back-up quarterbacks...earned playing time of one play each against Alabama and at Virginia Tech...both of the plays he participated in were designed run shirted as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Led Lee County as a senior in batting average (.507), runs (34), home runs (six) and stolen bases (11)...also recorded 20 RBI...participated in the 2005 Perfect Game National a junior, hit .386 with seven home runs and 37 RBI in Lee County's run to the state finals with former Seminole Buster Posey...was ranked as the No. 1 athlete in the state of Georgia and the No. 11 athlete in the country...PrepStar Magazine Football All-American...threw for over 2,200 yards and 27 touchdowns and rushed for 1,050 yards and 17 more scores as a senior quarterback, leading Lee County to a 10-2 record in his final season in 2005...drafted in the 2006 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals in the 35th round with the 1,051st pick....rated as the 82nd-best prospect by Baseball America.
