2007 MLB Draft: Drafted in the 49th round (1418th overall pick) by the Colorado Rockies.

2007: Started all 62 games at first base...named to the NCAA Tallahassee Regional All-Region team...saw some time at third base in the series finale against UNC Asheville...was named ACC Player of the Week for his clutch hitting against NC State...after starting the season hitless in his first six at-bats (two games), recorded hits in 43 of 62 games in 2007, including multi-hits in 21 games...put together two, seven-game hit streaks this season, tying a career-high at Florida State...recorded his first multi-RBI game of the season in game two against Siena...knocked in a career-high five runs in game two against Maryland...his six hits with the bases loaded was the second most on the team (.353)...recorded double-digit put outs in 18 games including a season-high 16 in the third game against Hofstra...committed only five errors in 542 chances (.991)...saw his consecutive games without committing an error come to an end at 32 straight games (5/23 vs. Wake Forest).
