SOPHOMORE YEAR (2004): Hit .130 on the season appear-ing in 29 games and making two starts...scored 10 runs and drew four walks in just 23 at bats...was a perfect 2-for-2 in steal four opportunities leading off an inning, Manasa reached base 50% of the time...made both of his starts at second base.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Had one at bat against VMI (2/2)...made his first-career pitching performance at Arizona State (2/8)...was the only Seminole pitcher to record a 1-2-3 inning in the Sunday game at Arizona State...went 0-for-1 with a run scored and two stolen bases vs. West Virginia (3/6)...recorded his first hit and RBI of the season against Jacksonville (3/17)...scored a run after draw-ing a pinch hit walk at UNC (3/26)...pitched the final two innings in relief against Miami (4/10) and allowed two runs on two hits with four walks...started at second base in the Saturday and Sun-day games at Miami...went 1-for-1 at Virginia (5/8)...scored an-other run in a win over Wake Forest (5/21)...scored his 10 th run of the year in the NCAA Regional versus UCF (6/6) as the Seminoles wrapped up the Regional Championship.

2003 (Freshman Year): Played both in the infield and in the outfield...made his first career start at second base at Stanford (2/ 9)...recorded his first hit, going 2-for-2 with a double vs. St. Joseph's (3/12)...his first RBI came against The Citadel (3/26)...went 1-for-1 vs. Clemson (4/13)....went 2-for-3 at Jacksonville (5/6)...had one hit at Maryland and an RBI (5/9)...started at third base at Mary-land (5/11) and went 1-for-3 with a run scored...went 0-for-2 with a walk in two games in the ACC Tournament...started at second base vs. Jacksonville (5/30) in the NCAA Regional (0-for-4)...also started at second base against Texas (6/9), but went 0-for-5 with one RBI in the Super Regional.

PREP: Named MVP of the Westminister National Classic hissenior season...voted team MVP his senior season and was named to the second team All-Dade County...set the Southridge record with 45 career stolen bases...voted third team All-Dade his junior season... named to the sophomore team in Dade County in 2000...earned honorable mention honors for the All-Dade County team...attended the same high school as Orlando Palmeiro of the Anaheim Angels and Shannon Stewart of the Toronto Blue Jays.
