2013: Appeared in nine games in 2013...recorded eight pinch-hit at-bats on the season collecting two walks - one each against Jacksonville (2/20) and another against Stetson (3/20)...finished the game in right field against Duke (4/12) catching a fly ball for the final out in the ninth inning to end the game...played over the summer with the Columbia Blowfish of the Coastal Plain League - hit .261 in 19 games.
2012: Made 15 appearances in his first season at Florida State...served as the backup catcher to Stephen McGee...registered 12 at-bats earning his first collegiate plate appearance in the series finale against Hofstra (2/19) on opening weekend...tallied two at-bats three times in games against Maine (3/4), Maryland (5/5) and at Clemson (5/14)...recorded a season-high five putouts in game one against Stanford in the Tallahassee Super Regional...made his College World Series debut against Stony Brook in an elimination game...garnered a perfect fielding percentage in 13 attempts...played summer ball in 2012 with the Sanford River Rats of the Florida Collegiate League.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of baseball, three years of football and a year of basketball at Fleming Island High School...garnered first team All-County accolades in both baseball and football...named All-District in 2011 as a first team catcher...helped lead Fleming Island to two district championships in baseball, while reaching the Regional Finals in both baseball and football as a senior in 2011...earned A/B Honor Roll all four years of high school...member of the National Honor Society and graduated in the top 10 percent of his class.
