Senior who started 56 games in 1999 as a designated hitter and first baseman...status is unknown for the early portion of the season due to injury ...medical term for injury is a right athletic pubal-gia...one of five Seminoles to reach the double-digit home run mark last season...one of the top power hitters on the roster from the left side.

1999 AS A JUNIOR: Took over first base duties midway through the season after Kevin Cash moved to third base, but did not start at first in the NCAA postseason...pinch-hit RBI double tied Auburn (6/5) as FSU went on to win that game and advance to the CWS...contributed 17 multi-hit and 13 multi-RBI games this season...the 'Noles fifth-leading RBI-producer with 50...drove in a career-high four runs on 2/28 against Florida, 3/19 vs. NC State and 3/12 vs. Virginia...walked three times and scored four runs vs. Troy State on 2/12...put together a nine-game hitting streak between 3/21 and 4/7 in which he batted .581 (18-for-31)...went 3-for-5 twice vs. Wake Forest (4/2 & 4/3)...ripped a game-winning RBI-double vs. Clemson on 4/11...crushed a homer and knocked in three runs on two hits at Maryland on 5/8...recorded just one hit in nine at bats in the ACC Tournament.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Named the Suncoast Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore...was an all-Suncoast selection in both seasons and an all-state honoree in his sophomore season...set single-season and career records for home runs and RBI at Pasco-Hernando...selected to the JUCO National All-Star Team in his second year...also batted .394 in 1998.

PREP: Garnered all-county and all-Suncoast honors as a senior...batted .385 with five home runs in his final year...also earned the Gold Seal Scholarship.
