2007 MLB Draft: Drafted in the 9th round (280th overall pick) by the Washington Nationals.

2007: Named to the All-ACC Second-Team in 2007...played in 58 games this season, starting 28 straight in center field...finished the regular season as the team's leading hitter in ACC games with a mark of .388 in 28 appearances...finished third in the league in on base percentage (.495) and third in batting in ACC Games Only...hit a team-best .440 against right handed pitchers...recorded 17 hits in 37 at-bats with runners in scoring position...knocked in a career-high three RBI's in the first game against North Carolina, a mark he later tied agaisnt Maryland in game two...posted two RBI games five times this season...got his first start of the season in game one against Boston College...started the first two games in center field against the Eagles...hit his first home run of the season at home against Florida...recorded three hits twice against North Carolina...set a new career-high with four hits against Maryland in game two...recorded at least one hit in all three games of the ACC Tournament.

2006: Played in 45 games and made 22 starts...made 19 straight starts to open the season...took over in left field for senior Gibbs Chapman before being side-lined by a hamstring injury. Returned to the line-up as a DH versus Jacksonville... recorded a single, double, triple and home run in his first 16 career at-bats...the first Seminole to have at least a double, triple and homer in 2006...recorded a hit in 14 of his 22 starts...had an 11-game hitting streak, the seventh-longest by an FSU player in 2006...hit safely in 13 of his first 15 career starts...was perfect in two opportunities when hitting with the bases loaded...the Seminoles' top pinch hitter with a .571 batting average...had a team high two sacrifice hits in a game versus Jacksonville.

ACC: Played in 13 conference games and made 10 starts...one of just six return-ing Seminoles with double digit hits in ACC play...sixth among returning players for RBIs in ACC games...hit .740 in a pinch hitting role versus conference pitching... second on the team in sacrifice flies.
