HIGH SCHOOL: Left-handed ace for Marist High, which captured the Georgia AAAA state championship in 2010...posted an 8-1 record with a 1.86 ERA as a senior...struck out 83 in 52 innings of work...fanned 10 in opening game of state finals series, recording a 5-0 shutout win...was voted team captain and the top pitcher...played two seasons of varsity ball.
