At Florida State: Senior who could see time on the mound both as a starter and in relief...appeared in 23 games and started one in his first season at FSU after transferring from South Florida Community College...struck out 37 in 35.1 innings pitched while walking just seven...member of a staff that led the ACC and ranked fourth in the NCAA with a 2.96 team ERA.

Junior Year (2003): Pitched 1.1 scoreless innings and struck out one vs. VMI on 2/1...worked 3.2 innings at Stanford (2/7), allowing just one run on four hits with five strikeouts...struck out nine and allowed one unearned run in six innings of relief vs. Charleston Southern (3/2)...allowed eight runs on nine hits in 2.2 innings in his first career start at Florida (3/9)...worked three innings vs. UNC (3/29) with five strikeouts and no earned runs...pitched in relief at Miami (4/20) and allowed one hit in 1.2 scoreless innings with one strikeout...worked a scoreless inning on 5/2 at Georgia Tech (2 K) and on 5/17 at Duke (1 K)...had one scoreless inning of relief vs. Duke in the ACC Tournament (5/22)...made one appearance in the NCAA Regional and did not allow a run on one hit in one inning vs. Rutgers (5/31).

Junior College: Earned All-Conference honors as a freshman at SFCC.

Prep: Attended Sebring High School...drafted by the New York Mets in the 49th round in 2000 and in the 45th round of 2001...played for the Ohio Thunder in the summer of 2000 following his senior year...threw a perfect game while on the pitching staff of the Ohio Thunder...was on the Southwest Florida Baseball team that won the USSSA National Championship team and earned tournament MVP honors.
