JOHNS RIVER CC: Earned All Mid-Florida Conference honors as a sophomore for the Vikings...hit .333 with 46 RBI, five doubles, 11 homers; scored 42 runs...played in 50 games in first season of competitive baseball since 2007, when he attended Daytona State College...as a freshman at Daytona played in 26 games...drove in 22 runs with four doubles and two homers...was seriously injured in an automobile accident on June 4, 2006... underwent two back surgeries to correct injuries sustained in the accident, which kept him out of baseball in 2008 and 2009.
