Winston Joins 2012-13...

Updated 2/3/12 Florida State baseball and head coach Mike Martin added an 11th student-athlete to the 2012-13 signing class when Jameis Winston, the nation's top-ranked quarterback and highly rated baseball prospect, faxed in his national letter of intent to play football and baseball for the Seminoles on Friday, February 3.

More Pre-Season Honors

With the season less than three weeks away, the Florida State baseball team continues to receive recognition nationally. Perfect Game USA named two Seminoles to their Pre-Season All-America team, while the NCBWA has the Garnet & Gold ranked in the top 10 to start the year.

Practice Begins

The Florida State baseball team hit Mike Martin Field inside Dick Howser Stadium for their first official day of practice on Friday afternoon, and Seminoles.com got to catch up with Coach Martin, James Ramsey, and Sherman Johnson to get their thoughts on starting the season.

ACC Preseason Poll

If the Florida State baseball team wants to capture their sixth consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference Atlantic Division title in 2012 they will have to do so as the underdog. For the second year in a row, the Seminoles are tabbed to finish second in the ACC Atlantic Division as voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.
