Yes We Can!During the month of November SAAC challenged the Florida State Athletic Department to collect cans for their annual canned food drive. Literacy WeekAlthough their playing careers are over at Florida State, former Florida State Seminoles, Valerie Flournoy and Ochuko Jenije, joined current Seminole track and field athlete, Margo Zwerling, at Wakulla High School for "Literacy Week". Literacy Week was being held the week of January 23-27. Captain CommunityAlthough fall baseball has ended for senior captain James Ramsey there is still work to be done. The Alpharetta, Ga., native enjoys this time of year because he has more time to give towards community service. Red Ribbon WeekAs a group, our student-athletes were able to reach over 500 local elementary school students answering questions and explaining to them the many benefits of staying drug free.
