CROSS COUNTRY - 2010: Came on late in the season and was in the lineup for FSU's NCAA Cross Country Championships runner-up finish...was the No. 6 runner at nationals, placing 118th with a 10k time of 31:20.3...sat out the NCAA South Region meet...posted 11th-place finish at the ACC Championships, helping the Seminoles to their first title...toured the Franklin Park 8k course in a season-best 24:07.6 and sealed Freshman of the Year honors...saw his first real competitive action at Pre-Nationals when he was FSU's No. 6 runner, finishing 60th in 24:32.

TRACK - 2011: Began his FSU track career indoors at the Razorback Invitational, running the 3,000 in 8:21.07...scored at the ACC Indoor Championships in the mile after posting a career best 4:09.49 in the preliminary heat, then following with a seventh-place showing in the final (4:09.64)..made outdoor debut at the Stanford Invitational in the 5,000 where he set a career best mark (14:17.97)...advanced to the finals of the ACC Outdoor Championships in the 1,500 where he missed scoring by one place despite a collegiate best 3:52.10...contributed a leg to FSU's fifth-place 4x1 mile relay quartet at Penn Relays.

The Czech Republic native lived in Grand Rapids, Mich. during the fall of 2008...won the 2008 Foot Locker Midwest Region Championship in 15:09 and earned All-American honors at Foot Locker Nationals, placing fifth...also won the 2008 Nike XC Heartland Regional, advancing to Nike XC Nationals, where he was the runner-up in 15:18...representing Czech Republic, he has won 13 national titles from 2006-2009 in cross country and track...competed for Gymanzium Josefa Jungmanna...finished second in the 2009 European Junior Championships for 5,000 meters...won the 1,500 and finished second in the 800 at the 2009 European Team Junior Championships in Moscow...finished 12th in the 3,000 at the 2007 World Youth Championships (8:19.36)...was fourth in the 3,000 at the 2007 European Youth Olympic Festival...three-time Litomerice Athlete of the Year Award (2008-10).
