Lindsay Zeiler begins her second year with the Florida State women's cross country program as a volunteer assistant for head coach Karen Harvey.

Last year Zeiler assisted the women's team throughout its run to the NCAA Division I National Championships runner-up finish. Her many duties included assisting with on-campus official and unofficial recruiting, coaching, making travel arrangements and handling equipment issues. She spent the spring serving as the program's Operations Manager, continuing many of her same duties, while also functioning as assistant meet director for all home track & field competitions.

Prior to her arrival at FSU, Zeiler spent the spring of 2010 as interim head distance coach at Murray State University, following three years with the Campus Outreach ministry.

Zeiler competed in cross country and track & field as a student-athlete for Southeast Missouri State, where she earned her degree in health management/exercise science with a 3.5 grade-point average. Over the course of her career with the Redhawks she earned 10 Ohio Valley Conference Championship titles and became a four-time NCAA Midwest Regional Qualifier in middle distance to distance events. Her 4:28.24 in the 1500-meter run at the NCAA Midwest Regional earned a spot in the top 10 in Southeast Missouri State history.

She enjoyed a distinguished prep career Massac County High School in Metropolis, Illinois - Home of Superman - where she was a four-time Illinois state champion in the 1600 and 3200 on the track and a third-place finisher at the state cross country meet.
