Fifth-year walk-on and graduate student whose work ethic and tenacity position him for a spot on FSU's 10-man ACC Championships roster.
2012: Was on the starting line for five meets, including the ACC Championships at Virginia Tech...career-best finish came at Royal XC Challenge in Charlotte, N.C., where he covered the 8000m course in 25:07.7 for 13th overall and No. 1 among B-team Seminoles...was FSU's No. 6 runner at Covered Bridge Open team win. 2011: competed in a handful of meets with his top performance coming at Covered Bridge Open when he placed 19th as FSU's No. 4 runner in 26:24.8...came back a month later to place 17th at FSU Invitational (26:23.48) over the 8k ARP course. 2010: represented the `Noles in two meets, including the FSU Invitational, where he placed 35th (26:25.06).
Track & Field
2013: Outdoor - enjoyed his most productive season on the track, competing in three meets...highlight came at home where he won the 10,000 at FSU Relays in a personal-best time of 30:50.68. Indoor - did not compete. 2012: Outdoor - scored his first collegiate win in the 3000m at the Seminole Invitational in personal-best 8:47.62....also established a new personal-best in the 5000 (15:02.38) at Florida Relays. Indoor - did not compete.
Outstanding student-athlete who came to FSU from Bishop Verot High Fort Meyers...two-time recipient of the Golden Torch Award, presented to the top academic student-athlete for each team...a three-time member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll...completed his undergraduate work with a double major in International Affairs and Philosophy...currently pursuing master's degree in Economics...has been on President's List (4.0 gpa) multiple semesters...born April 30, 1991.
