Competed sparingly throughout the 2012 indoor season due to illness but made the most of it...finished sixth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the 800 after qualifying eighth in 2:10.09...only other appearance came at SPIRE Invitational in the 800...a versatile runner who can contribute from the 1500-5000 during the outdoor season. Track - 2011: Outdoor - punched her ticket to the NCAA First Round outdoors after capturing her first ACC Championship in the 5000 meter (16:14.74) with a dominating finish...established a new personal best in the 1500 meters (4:17.90) at the Kent Taylor Relays...posted a lifetime-best 16:12.70 for 5000 meters at the Florida Relays. Indoor - scored in two events for the `Noles at the ACC Indoor Championship, placing fourth in the mile and fifth as part of the DMR...registered career-best 3000m mark at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational (9:12.25)...established indoor mile PR (4:42.80) at the UW Husky Invitational. 2010: Outdoor & Indoor - did not compete as a true freshman, opting to redshirt. Cross Country - 2011: Junior co-captain of a team that won the ACC Championship, NCAA South Region and finished fourth at the NCAA Championship...opened the season with a sixth-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational...enjoyed her finest performance of the year finishing fourth at the ACC Championship meet, earning All-ACC honors. 2010: Ran third or fourth for the Seminoles in all five major races...was FSU's No. 3 scorer at both the NCAA South Region and NCAA Championship meets...earned All-American honors as FSU's No. 3 finisher at the NCAA Championship, placing 22nd overall as the `Noles scored their second consecutive runner-up finish...finished fourth overall at NCAA South Region to earn All-Region honors as the `Noles scored five runners in the top eight for a runaway win with 24 points. 2009: wasted no time establishing herself in the lineup as a freshman, finishing second on the team at the Notre Dame Invitational...finished 14th to earn All-ACC honors at the conference championship meet, helping the `Noles to the team title...earned NCAA All-South Region honors with a 15th-place finish (20:51)...contributing member of FSU's NCAA Championship runner-up finish. Personal: A member of Canada's 2010 IAAF World Junior Championship team after winning the national title in the 1500...also represented her country at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Game and IAAF World Junior Championships...held national junior records in the 1500 (4:20.59) and 800 (2:06.72)...a 12-time OFSAA gold medalist in cross country and track...won two golds at the 2007 Canadian Junior Championships...presented the Myrtle Cook Award as the outstanding Canadian youth track athlete...three-time member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic cross country team...exercise science major has excelled academically...three-time member of the President's List (4.0 gpa)...2010 Golden Torch Award recipient for top gpa among women's cross country team...four-time ACC All-Academic selection...born April 25, 1991.
