Returned to action during the 2012 indoor season after sitting out the 2011 cross country and outdoor track campaigns...posted a new career-best for 5000 meters (16:33.0) at SPIRE Invitational...also added a new 3000m PR (9:43.85)...scored an eighth-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships in the 5000...a tested veteran who has competed for championships in both cross country and in the steeplechase on the track for the Seminoles. Track - 2011: Outdoor & Indoor - did not compete, taking a redshirt season. 2010: Outdoor - capped a remarkable season by earning All-American honors with a 10th place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships...ranked 22nd entering the meet but posted a personal-best 10:14.58, advancing to the finals...won the ACC Outdoor Championship in the steeplechase (10:26.03), earning an NCAA East Region berth in just her second attempt at the event...made her steeple debut at the Florida Relays in 10:32.25...also established a new PR in the 1500 (4:30.11) at the Seminole Invite. Indoor - pulled off an impressive double at the ACC Indoor Championship, finishing sixth in the 3000 meters (9:36.41) and following with a fourth in the 5000...established an indoor PR in the 5000 at the Husky Invitational (16:38.58). 2009: Outdoor - higlight of her freshman outdoor campaign was a fifth-place finish in the 1500 at the Seminole Twilight (4:44.98). Indoor - set a PR as a freshman in the 3000 meter at the Tyson Invitational (10:13.93)...finished third in the mile at the adidas Classic. Cross Country - 2010: came within .10 of earning All-American honors by finishing 41st at the NCAA Championship for the national runner-up Seminoles...consistently finished as FSU's No. 4 runner throughout the season...earned NCAA South Region honors with a ninth-place finish...helped FSU keep its streak of ACC Championships alive...was named ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year, as well as All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. 2009: finished 42nd at NCAA Championships, just two spots out of an All-American performance as the `Noles posted their first national runner-up team finish...earned All-South Region honors after placing 13th...scored her first All-ACC recognition after helping the `Noles to the team title...won the FSU Invitational in 17:41.43 in the first race at the new Apalachee Regional Park home course...claimed All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time. 2008: spent the majority of the season leading the B-team, highlighted by her fifth-place finish at the FSU Invitational. Personal: One of the most decorated distance runners in Alabama High School history, never finishing lower than third in the 1600 or 3200 at the state meet for Austin High...won AHSAA 6A state cross country title as a senior in a course record 17:44.04...back-to-back indoor 32000 state champion, including a state record 2007 title (10:42.83)...first person to win the Decatur Daily Female Runner of the Year award four times...pursuing a degree in dietetics...born July 13, 1990.
