A New No. 1!

FSU women ascend to top spot in national cross country poll for first time

Vying to crack a spot in the varsity lineup after a solid redshirt sophomore season on the track...came to FSU as a transfer from NC State, following an outstanding high school career at Jacksonville Bolles...spent the 2010 cross country season training with the Seminoles.

Cross Country - 2010: Did not compete as a member of the team in the fall.

Track - 2011: Began her Florida State career indoors at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in the 3,000 meters, placing ninth in 10:27.91...progressed nicely throughout the outdoor campaign, displaying some range in distances...ran 4:51.87 in the 1,500 meters at the FSU Relays and six weeks later established a new personal best at the Seminole Twilight (4:46.76)...posted her highest individual finish of the season with a second at the Seminole Invitational in the 5,000 meters (18:00.94)...two weeks later made the travel squad for the ACC Outdoor Championships where she uncorked her personal best in the 5,000 (17:52.59)...closed out the spring with a third-place finish at the UNF Osprey Invitational in the 5,000.

Prep Enjoyed an outstanding career at Bolles, earning All-State honors three times in cross country, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the 2A Championship in 2008...was a scorer for Bolles' state runner-up teams in 2005 and 2008...earned All-State honors in track for three seasons, highlighted by a state runner-up finish in the 3,200 as a sophomore.


Aspires to attend medical school and is majoring in exercise science/pre-med at Florida State...the daughter of Kim and Tony Iselborn...born December 13, 1990.
