A redshirt freshman, Woodruff has made significant strides in just one year on campus with the Seminoles...competed in track in the spring, where she took up the steeplechase...a product of perennial Florida 1A power Trinity Prep High School.
Cross Country - 2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.
Track - 2011: Established personal bests in five different events as a true freshman in the spring for the Seminoles, while taking up the steeplechase...made her FSU debut indoors at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational where she posted a 10:33.02 3,000 meter result...six weeks later, outdoors at the USF Bulls Invite she shaved her personal best to 10:26.89...ran the 1,500 for the first time at the FSU Relays and posted a third-place finish in 4:42.58...stepped up to the 5,000 on the track at the Florida Relays and rolled out a 17:58.19...made her competitive debut in the 2,000 steeplechase at the Seminole Invitational and notched a 7:08.28; good for third place and a spot on the ACC Outdoor Championships travel team...at Duke in the ACC Championships, she ran 10:54.04 in the 3,000 steeplechase, which placed 14th...lowered her collegiate PR in the 1,500 to 4:39.42 at the Seminole Twilight.
Enjoyed an outstanding career at Trinity Prep in cross country and track where she posted personal bests of: 18:35 (5k XC), 5:09 (1,600) and 2:18 (800)...holds school records at all three distances and also as a member of the 4x400 relay...was ninth as the 2008 1A state cross country meet and sixth in 2009...placed in the top eight at the 1A state track meet in the 800 each of her final three years, including a fifth-place finish as a senior in 2009... a two-time member of the All-Central Florida Cross Country team...selected Trinity Prep Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Majoring in exercise science at FSU, she aspires to be a personal trainer...daughter of Nancy and Richard Woodruff...born Sept. 26, 1991.
