Track 'Noles deployed to Georgia Tech, Virginia for final competition before NCAA postseason

Sophomore made his first NCAA Championship individual appearance count, placing sixth with an all-time best of 16.00m (52-6) at the indoor meet in Nampa, Idaho...contributed to FSU's ACC Indoor Championship with sixth-place scoring finishes in both the long jump and triple jump in Boston...posted an NCAA qualifying jump at the Razorback Invitational (15.87m), where he placed second...also notched a new indoor career-best in the long jump (7.28m/ 23-10.75)...versatile athlete who is capable of contributing beyond the jumps as he regularly fills a spot on the 4x400 relay team. 2011: Outdoor - qualified for the NCAA First Round as a member of the 4x400 relay team...placed fifth in the long jump at the ACC Outdoor Championships to go along with a seventh-place showing in the triple jump...also earned some experience in the 400-meter hurdles where he posted his career-best time (53.04) at the FSU Relays. Indoor - capped his freshman indoor campaign by earning All-American honors as a member of FSU's ninth-place 4x400 relay team...was part of the quartet that earned an NCAA qualifying time of 3:07.26 at the Iowa State Last Chance meet...scored his first collegiate victory at the Tyson Invitational in the triple jump, soaring 15.52m; his first time over 15 meters. Personal: Came to FSU from Key West (Fla.) High, where he excelled in the intermediate hurdles and jumps...won the Florida 2A state title in the 300 hurdles as a sophomore...three-time state qualifier in the 300 hurdles and two-time qualifier in the triple jump, finishing second as both a junior and senior...majoring in sport management...born Sept. 10, 1992.
