Seminole 400-meter specialists shine at Razorback Invitational


Sophomore is making his NCAA Outdoor Championships debut as a member of the 4x400 relay pool...has competed primarily in the open 400 throughout the regular season, but also on the A-team 4x400 relay on two occasions...earned All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships as a member of the seventh-place 4x400 relay team in March.


Outdoor: Competed in five meets during the season, including the ACC Championships, where he ran the 400...season-best open 400 came at Georgia Tech Invitational (48.73)...was on the runner-up 4x400 relay at the Crimson Tide finish came at Seminole Invitational when he placed second in 48.89.

Indoor: Saw action in seven meets during the indoor campaign...his top individual performance came at the Tyson Invitational (48.49), which nearly eclipsed his outdoor collegiate best of 2013...also ran the 400 at the ACC Indoor Championships...took several one-lap tours with the 4x400, including the group that put together a 3:08.18 at the NCAA Indoor Championships, when he handled the second leg.


Outdoor: Turned in his outdoor personal-best 400 at the season-ending Georgia Tech Invitational (48.42)...competed in the qualifying rounds of the 400 at the ACC Outdoor Championships, won by the finish was a fifth at the Seminole Twilight 49.17.

Indoor: Handled the 400 leg on FSU's fourth-place distance medley relay at the ACC Indoor Championships...indoor personal-best of 48.64 was also recorded at the ACC Championships and very nearly good enough to land a spot in the finals...competed in five meets.

Personal: Starred at King's Academy in West Palm Beach, Fla....qualified for the 1A state meet as a senior in the 400-meter dash where he authored his lifetime-best mark of 47.58 en route to a silver medal...was a member of state championship-winning 4x100 relay as a freshman...majoring in business management...born November 13, 1993.
