2006: Outdoor - Top thrower and shot put on the Seminole squad... moved into the top ten performers list in the hammer and the shot put...NCAA qualifier in shot put...ninth in the region in the shot put... scored points in the shot put and the hammer throw at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships... earned All-ACC honors after tossing 49'2.25" (14.99m) in rounding out the top three in the shot put... entered the event seeded outside the top ten shot putters in the event and ended the contest improving her personal best mark by three feet in taking third place... added a season-best hammer mark in taking fifth place (175'7"/53.51m) at the league championships... took first-place at the Seminole Twilight in the shot put with a career-best throw of 50'6.75" (15.41m)...matched her career best throw in the shot put at the NCAA Championships...had the fourth farthest throw at the Reebok Invitational, tossing 49'5.75" (15.08m)... won the hammer throw at the Snowbird Invitational with a mark of 164'7" (50.17m... placed second in the hammer at the FSU Relays, tossing 169'10" (51.77m)... finished in third-place at the Seminole Invitational and eighth-place at the Diet Pepsi Invitational.

Indoor- Shot put her season high 45'7.75 at the ACC Championships, where she finished tied for 10th place...threw 53'11.75" at the ACC Championships, finishing 11th in the weight throw...at the Clemson Opener, Sarah shot put 45'1.75" in the prelims, qualifying 5th, and also threw 45'1.75" to finish 6th...shot put 43'01" at the Lobo Invite to finish 10th in the shot put... threw her season 55'3.5" in the weight throw, finishing 8th at the Lobo Invite...finished 6th at the Florida Intercollegiates in the shot put, throwing 42'11"... finished 8th at the Florida Intercollegiates with a weight throw of 49'8.5"...shot put 41'1.5" at the Pepsi Invite, finishing in 11th place...finished 10th at the Pepsi Invite for the weight throw, throwing 52"...

2005: Outdoor - Did not compete for FSU during the outdoor campaign.

Indoor - Led the Seminoles weight throw corps during the indoor season... top distance came at the Wildcat Invitational... finished in fifth-place in the weight throw with a mark of 54'6.75" (16.63m)... at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, threw for 52'6" (16.00m) to take 11th place... finished in the top 15 at the Gator, Florida and Niswonger Invitationals and the Clemson Opener.

At Illinois: Participated in Iowa Twilight and finished 5th in shot put at the Missouri Invitational... season-best shot put of 40'02.75" at Iowa Twilight... during the indoor season, threw at the Illinois Invitational and Carle/Health Classic, placing ninth in shot put for both...season-best shot put of 40'09.50" at Carle/Health Classic.

Prep: Qualifier 1999-2002 for Florida State Track Meet...at the 2002 state meet, finished 2nd in discus and shot put...at regionals in 2002, took first place in shot put...placed second in shot put and fifth in discus at the 2001 state meet...was honored as the 2002 Athlete of the Year by the Sarasota Herald Tribune...earned All-Area honors all four years of high school by the Sarasota Herald Tribune and Charlotte Tribune...won 12 Varsity letters throughout high school: four for Volleyball, four for Basketball and four for Track and Field.

Personal: Daughter of Don Reed, pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals 1970-1975, and Jeanie Reed ...older brother Justin, 21, currently plays football for the University of Tennessee...has a younger brother, Hunter, 16...majoring in social science and psychology.
