'Noles roll behind MVP Locke and supporting cast; women a close second

One of the prized signees for the Seminoles who has delivered outstanding results in both cross country and indoor track...enters the outdoor season on the heels of a strong indoor campaign...finished fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the mile with a season-best time of 4:45.40...participated in four indoor meets, including the Razorback Invitational, where he posted a 3000-meter PR (9:18.68)...won the mile at the Auburn Invitational in her indoor debut (4:47.16)...strong and versatile, is expected to take up the steeplechase during the outdoor season under women's distance coach Karen Harvey. Cross Country - 2011: A fixture in the lineup as the No. 4 or No. 5 runner throughout the year...helped the Seminoles to a fourth-place finish at NCAA Championship, placing 79th...earned All-South Region honors after placing 13th as FSU's No. 4 runner...earned All-ACC honors and was named ACC Rookie of the Year on the strength of her sixth-place finish...placed 13th at Pre-Nationals and opened the year with an 18th-place showing at Notre Dame Invitational. Personal: Arrived from St. Louis Nerinx Hall, where she collected Missouri Gatorade Runner of the Year honors as a senior in both cross country and track...qualified for the prestigious Footlocker National Championship in cross country, where she earned All-American honors with a 20th-place finish...was third as a senior at the Missouri State Cross Country Championships...a three-year All-State honoree on the track, she capped her career in style, winning state titles with personal bests in the 1600 (4:52.17) and 3200 (10:27.62)...also swept both titles at the prestigious Kansas Relays...qualified for New Balance Outdoor Nationals in both events as well...was state runner-up as a junior in the 1600 and 3200...outstanding student in high school, she is a National Merit Commended Scholar...posted a 4.0 gpa in first semester at FSU and earned All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors...has extensive experience as a model...born Nov. 20, 1992.
