'Noles will send 14 individuals, three relay teams to NCAA Championships
First-year Seminole is making his initial NCAA Championships appearance, qualifying in the 800 as well as a member of the 4x400 relay...sophomore's breakout season includes the first ACC Outdoor title at 800 meters for the Seminoles in a decade...has improved his 800 PR by nearly three seconds in first season at FSU (1:48.74).
Outdoor: Enjoying his finest collegiate season, racing his way to an automatic NCAA Championships berth in the 800 (1:49.24) with a third-place quarterfinal heat finish...handled the third leg on the No. 7 4x400 relay in FSU history at NCAA East meet (3:04.95) for qualifying spot...helped the Seminoles claim the ACC Outdoor Championships team title by shocking the favorites in the 800 final, winning in strategic 1:51.39...set PR with second-place finish at Jace LaCoste Invitational (1:48.74).
Indoor: Contributed a sixth-place scoring finish in the 800 to FSU's ACC Indoor Championships team title...indoor season-best of 1:50.52 came in sixth-place finish at Tyson Invitational...posted fastest mile (4:09.42) of the indoor season among Seminoles at the Razorback Invitational.
Personal: Transfer from USF where he competed in both the Big East Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the 800 and had a collegiate-best mark of 1:51.57... considers Miami his hometown but starred at Lake Brantley High in Central Florida, where he claimed the 2012 4A state title in the 800 (1:51.43)... was member of state-qualifying cross country team as a senior as well...competed at the 2013 USA Junior Outdoor Championships in both the 800 and 1500...majoring in international affairs at FSU...born January 15, 1994.
