2013: Finish first at the Eastern Preliminaries with a toss of 75.17m(246-7)...wasted no time leaving his mark with the Seminoles opening his career with the then school record in the javelin (73.83m/242-3) at the Texas Relays... was ACC Outdoor runner-up as well... has vast international experience...won bronze medal for his native South Africa at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain with a career-best mark of 76.29m (250-3)

• One of the top junior javelin throwers in the world out of South Africa, he enrolled at Florida State in January 2013
• Should contend for a spot at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships on the strength of his career-best throw of 76.29 meters (250-3) at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain where he placed third
• Has vast amount of international experience at the junior level...was runner-up at the 2011 World Youth Games in Lille, France where he unleashed a throw of 83.16m (272-10) with the 700g javelin...won the 2011 Commonwealth Games at Isle of Man
