2004: Outdoor - Anchored the distance events for the Seminoles, bringing experience and talent to the group... had three top-ten finishes in the 800m dash, including a second place mark at the Seminole Invite... set a personal record in the 800m dash at the Florida dual meet, running 2:13.96... set a new collegiate best in the 1500m run, running 4:47.77 at the Snowbird Invitational... competed for the second consecutive season at the conference championships... Indoor - Earned All-ACC honors as a member of the distance medley relay team... ran the third leg of the conference winning distance medley relay team that posted the fastest time of the season... Cross Country - Has run cross country for the past three seasons as a preparation for the middle distance events in track... ran in the FLrunners.com Invitational posting a time of 21:06.36, crossing the tape third overall for FSU and 30th for the meet.

2003: Outdoor - Saw competitive action in the mid-distance events for the Tribe... accumulated a personal best time in the 800m at the ACC Championships of 2:14.98 to finish 13th...compiled three top five finishes in the 800m at the Seminole Track Invite (first), FAMU Relays (first) and FSU Relays (fifth)... ran under 2:20 in all six events in the 800m... finished tenth at the Snowbird Invitational in the 1500m in a time of 5:01.86. Indoor - Ran in the mile-run at the Florida Intercollegiate crossing the finish line in tenth (5:20.89).

Prep: Participated in cross country and track and field as well as basketball all four years at South High School... won the 800m regional championships during freshman, sophomore and junior years... qualified for the state races all four years of school... in basketball, earned all-league honors during junior and senior seasons... Member of the National Honor Society and National Hispanic Scholars while in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Karen Mondragon... born January 17, 1983... major is math education... earned Dean's list honors three times in two years and the ACC honor roll last season.
