FSU track teams sharp on final day of Seminole Invitational

Developing sophomore talent who contributes to the sprint/hurdles group in a variety of capacities...made tremendous strides throughout the 2012 indoor season both in the open 400m dash and as a member of the 4x400 relay...anchored the 4x400 unit to a fifth-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships with a 56.1, helping the `Noles preserve a second-place team finish...posted a 400m career-best 57.54 at the SPIRE Invitational...pared two seconds off her 400 time from the start of the indoor season...adds the 400m hurdles to her repertoire during the outdoor season. 2011: Outdoor - competed in the 400m hurdles at the ACC Outdoor Championships...season-best time in 400 hurdles (1:02.60) came at FSU Relays where she finished fifth...was a member of the winning 4x400 relay at Seminole Invitational and UNF Spring Break Invitational...registered fastest open 400 time (58.23) at UNF as well. Indoor - competed in three meets during the season, each time in the 400m dash...posted her fastest 400 (58.11) at the Tyson Invitational. Personal: Starred at Archbishop McCarthy High in Fort Lauderdale...finished third in the 2010 2A state meet in the 300m hurdles...ran cross country in high school to prepare for track season and participated in a pair of state championship meets...outstanding student who is majoring in exercise science...aspires to be a pediatrician...born Dec. 25, 1992.
