FSU track teams produce 12 All-ACC Academic Honorees

Fifth-year senior will make her fourth NCAA East Preliminary meet appearance in the 100-meter dash, as well as the 4x100 relay...is tied for ninth among East entries with a season-best 100 of 11.38-w...relay team enters with sixth-fastest time (44.29)...Academic All-American nominee is working on her master's degree in international affairs.
Outdoor: Opened her final season as a Seminole by winning the 100 at the FSU Relays (11.48) in her fastest legal time of the season, and also ran the leadoff leg of winning and season-best 4x100...was the No. 1 qualifier in the 100 following the prelims at the ACC Outdoor Championships and ultimately finished fourth, helping the `Noles to the team title and the Triple Crown...season-best 100 (11.38) came in a wind-aided runner-up finish at Seminole Twilight.
Indoor: Claimed the second individual ACC title of her career at the indoor meet, winning the 60-meter dash in a season-best 7.33, narrowly missing an NCAA Indoor Championships berth...helped the Seminoles claim their first ACC Indoor title since 2009...exclusively competed in the 60 throughout the year, advancing to the finals in all five meets...impressive in runner-up finish at Cherry & Silver Invitational (7.37).
Outdoor: Made her third appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary meet in the 100-meter dash...season-best 100 (11.64) came in her victory at the Seminole Invitational...placed fourth in the 100 at the ACC Outdoor Championships and was a member of the runner-up 4x100 relay team.
Indoor: Competed in five meets exclusively in the 60-meter dash as she began her comeback from surgery...posted season-best time in the finals at the ACC Indoor Championships, placing fourth in 7.37...posted runner-up finishes at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational and the Crimson Tide Opener...narrowly missed earning a spot at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Outdoor: Her season was cut short by injury, ultimately leading to surgery and a medical redshirt...competed in two meets, winning the 100 at the FSU Relays (11.76) and competing in both the 100 and 4x100 relay at the Florida Relays.
Indoor: Made her second consecutive NCAA Indoor Championship appearance in the 60-meter dash after posting a season-best time of 7.33 at the ACC Championships, where she finished fifth...in her first season working with sprints coach Ken Harnden.
Outdoor: Capped season by earning All-American honors in the 4x100 relay at the NCAA Championships, where the `Noles finished sixth (44.06) after posting a season-best 43.65 in the preliminary round...competed in the 100 at the NCAA East Preliminary, as well as the 4x100 Relay...placed third in the 100 and the 4x100 relay at the ACC Outdoor Championships...posted season-bests in both the 100 (11.34) and 200 (24.37) at the Seminole Invitational.
Indoor: Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships for the first time in the 60-meter dash after uncorking a career-best 7.26 at the Iowa State Last Chance meet, where she posted a victory...advanced to the finals and finished third or better in four of five 60-meter appearances, including a third-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships.
Outdoor: Advanced to the NCAA Championships in both the 100 and 4x100 relay...registered her season- and collegiate-best 11.29 while winning the 100 at the NCAA East Region...scored five 100-meter victories over the course of the season, highlighted by her rookie season ACC Championship triumph...also won titles at the FSU Relays and Florida Relays...helped the Seminoles' 4x100 relay team to the finals of the Penn Relays, where they finished fifth...arrived at FSU as a January enrollee and did not compete indoors.
Personal: A native of St. Kitts & Nevis, where she earned the junior national title in 2009 and was named captain of her country's team for the CARIFTA Games...Class 3 & 4 100m record-holder of the Basse Terre High Schools in 2002 and 2003...recipient of the 2006 Alphonso Bridgewater Award for the most outstanding student in athletes and academics...four-year member of Student Athlete Advisory Committee...completed her undergraduate degree at Florida State in psychology...enrolled in graduate studies for international affairs...born Jan. 7, 1990.
