2003: Outdoor - Added depth to the distance events for the Seminoles... accumulated a personal best time of 5:08.14 in the 1500m at the Snowbird Invitational... finished sixth in the 1500m run at the first meet of the season, crossing the line at 5:08.59... run in the 3K at the FAMU Relays and placed 11th in a time of 11:07.57. Indoor - Did not compete during the indoor season.

Prep: Competed four years in the state championships in cross country... won the district championships as a junior... during junior and senior seasons, earned all-area cross country team honors... selected team captain during senior year... outside of sports, participated in National Honor Society, Spanish club and National Art Honor Society. Personal: Celebrates a February 3, 1982 birthday... major is early childhood education... daughter of Karen Leitner-Adams.
