Carries momentum into the outdoor season after a solid 2012 indoor campaign...matched his career-best with a vault of 5.20m (17-0.75) in a win at the Arkansas Qualifier, which came on the heels of a sixth-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championship...has improved his speed and technique throughout his career, which have led to incremental improvement along the way. 2011: Outdoor - Qualified for his first NCAA Championship after capturing the NCAA First Round title by clearing 5.20...earned second-team All-American honors by placing 16th at the NCAA Championship meet...earned All-ACC honors with a third-place finish at the ACC Championship, contributing to the team's seventh consecutive conference title...was highly competitive throughout the season, finishing in the top-three at nine different meets...opened the season with a win at the UNF Spring Break Invitational, clearing 5.20 for the first time. Indoor - did not compete. 2010: Outdoor - battled consistency throughout the season, but rebounded late in the year with a third-place finish at the Seminole Twilight and a runner-up performance at the Seminole Invitational...cleared a season-best 4.95m (16-2.75) at Florida Relays. Indoor - turned in the most timely performance of his redshirt freshman season by clearing a then career-best 5.10m (16-8.75) at the ACC Indoor Championship, scoring a seventh-place finish as the `Noles claimed the conference title. Personal: Capped outstanding career at Lake Brantley High with his 4A state championship record 16-1 vault as a senior...finished second as a junior and fifth at the state meet as a sophomore...was inducted into the Seminole County Sports Hall of Fame...majoring in philosophy...born March 11, 1990.
