Seminoles denied ACC title, but not shorted on outstanding performances

Coming off an outstanding 2012 indoor season when he earned All-American honors with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in the 60-meter dash (6.59)...was consistently one of the nation's top short sprinters throughout the season after earning an NCAA Indoor automatic qualifying time (6.56) in the 60-meter dash at the opening meet of the season in Birmingham, Ala...his time tied the Cayman Islands national record, which he now shares with former FSU volunteer assistant Kareem Streete-Thompson...subsequently posted two more auto times in the event...won the ACC Championship in the 60, helping the Seminoles to the team title...tremendous out of the blocks and has improved his top-end speed. 2011: Outdoor - ran the leadoff leg on FSU's NCAA Championship 4x100 Relay that brought home the title in 38.77 and nearly helped deliver the Seminoles the team title...qualified for the NCAA First Round in the 100, where he turned in a personal-best 10.26...ran the leadoff leg for the Seminoles' 4x100 on their ACC Championship quartet, which won in 39.61...also contributed a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash as the `Noles swept the top three spots, coming across the line in 10.27. Indoor - finished third at the ACC Championship Meet in the 60-meter dash after qualifying with a personal-best time of 6.65...qualified eighth in the 200...narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Championship meet in the 60...finished third at the Hokie Invitational in the 200 (21.42). Personal: Second-year transfer from King College in the Cayman Islands...has a twin brother, Maxwell, on the Florida State team...senior majoring in economics...born Oct. 11, 1989.
