Enrolled at Florida State in the fall of 2011 after completing her undergraduate degree at Columbia University...trained with the cross country and indoor team while competing unattached...has one outdoor season of eligibility remaining...a proven talent who qualified for the NCAA East Regional outdoors in the 1500m each of the last three years, as well as the 5000m the last two seasons. Personal: Brings wealth of experience to the Seminoles...earned All-Ivy League honors in both cross country and track at Columbia...holds the school record there in the mile (4:42)...Ivy and ECAC champion at 1500m in 2010, when she also advanced to the NCAA East Region finals...finished third at Heps cross country championship in fall of 2010...multiple recipient of Ivy League All-Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors...was high school teammate of Seminole standout Amanda Winslow at Collins Hill (Ga.), where she won three consecutive state titles in the 3200 and two in the 1600...also won back-to-back cross country state titles (2005-06), leading Collins Hill to the team title...earned her undergraduate degree from Columbia in political science with a minor in human rights...completing her master's degree at FSU in international affairs...her father, Bob, ran the mile at the University of Florida...born Oct. 2, 1988.
