Cross Country - 2011: Spent entire season running first or second for coach Karen Harvey's nationally recognized squad...was FSU's No. 1 runner at NCAA Championships, finishing 28th...was second at NCAA South Region and third at ACC Championships, leading the `Noles to one-sided victories in each meet. 2010: Transfer from Birmingham (U.K.) University who jumped into the Seminoles' lineup immediately...ran at NCAA Championships where the `Noles finished second for the second consecutive season...was 10th at NCAA South Region. Track - 2011: Outdoor - capped her season by claiming All-American honors in the 1500 at the NCAA Championship in Des Moines, Iowa, finishing sixth (4:16.81)...finished third at ACC Championships in the 5000...won the 5000 at Florida Relays, setting new PR (16:09.81)...won both the 800 and 1500 at Kent Taylor Relays. Indoor - began her FSU track career with a solid campaign, highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the 800 at the ACC Indoor Championships...earned All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors in both cross country and track. Personal: Excelled on the national level in Great Britain, placing seventh in the 1500 at the 2010 Aviva World Trials and UK Indoor Championships...won the 1500 at the 2009 BUCS Indoor and placed third at the same distance Outdoors...finished fourth at the England U23 Championships for 800 meters and won the SEAA 800 U20/Senior Championships...has been a factor on the national scene since 2005 when she won the English Schools Outdoor title in the 800...completing her master's degree in sports psychology at FSU, where she has posted a cumlative 4.0 GPA...plans to seek doctorate degree and pursue a career in healthcare...is an accomplished pianist...born June 25, 1988. |
