TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Three days after their last competition, the men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Gainesville, Fla. to take on Florida in a 16 event dual meet format at 5 p.m. at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.

The Seminoles are coming off a 5-1 showing from this past weekend, where the women's team swept Virginia Tech, Duke and UNC-Wilmington and the men's team beat Duke and UNC-Wilmington but dropped their contest against Virginia Tech.

While in Christiansburg, Va., the Noles claimed three Christiansburg Aquatic Center pool records. Freshman Elizabeth Pepper posted the top time in the ACC with an NCAA B cut at 1:59.52 in the 200 fly. With that swim, she became the fifth Seminole to break the two minuet mark in addition to claiming the third fastest swim in the event in school history. Pepper would then team up with sophomore Tiffany Oliver, freshmen Kaitlyn Dressel and Ginny Grams to claim the 400 free relay pool record at 3:26.14.

Senior Mateo De Angulo continued his unbeaten individual event streak, which now stands at 18 with nine more first places in the distance events en route to establishing a new pool record in the 1000 free at 9:22.90. De Angulo has turned in the fastest times in the ACC this season in the 500 (4:25.00), 1000 (9:20.94) and 1650 (15:25.33) free.

The Gators are coming off of a men's team tie at and a women's team loss against Georgia, where the meet was swum in a long course meters format and featured 22 swims that were Olympic Trial marks.

Last season, the Seminoles stunned the Gators by claiming both men's and women's team victories marking just the second win over Florida for the ladies and the 24th time the men have achieved the feat.

The meet will be broadcasted live on GatorVision and then rebroadcasted on Floridaswimnetwork.com at 4 p.m. Check into twitter for live updates (@fsu_swimming) throughout the evening.
