Federal Way, Wash.- Florida State sophomore diver Terry Horner added to his long list of collegiate acccomplishments on Friday evening earning honorable mention All-American honors on the three-meter board at the 2008 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
"I thought Terry [Horner] did a really good job today," FSU diving coach Patrick Jeffrey said. "He just missed his hardest dive the front 4.5 which is a tough dive. He had a very high degree of difficulty list and I was very proud of him."
Horner missed out on the finals by seven points in the afternoon session and then finished the consolation finals in 16th place with 324.95 points. The All-American finish is Horner's fourth such award in two years as a Seminole.
The 2008 NCAA Championships will conclude on Saturday, March 29 with the Seminoles competing in the 1650 and 100 freestyle events. For live results visit www.ncaaswim.com
