TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Championship season continues for the Florida State Swimming and Diving team as the men's swimming portion of the 2012 ACC Championships in Christiansburg, Va. will begin tomorrow at 6 p.m. starting with the 200 medley relay. The 800 free relay will dive in at 7 p.m. Florida State has already claimed three medals and the outright team lead from men's diving competition, which was held last weekend. Freshman Ford McLiney took home the silver on the three-meter springboard, sophomore Tom Neubacher grabbed the bronze on the one-meter springboard and junior Nick Klein was awarded a bronze in the platform event. All three divers earned All-ACC honors. The Seminoles finished the dual meet season with a record of 2-2 in the conference and an overall showing of 7-3. Their pair of ACC victories came against Georgia Tech and Duke, while the losses were to Virginia Tech and NC State. Having already qualified for the NCAA meet in March, senior Mateo De Angulo heads into this portion of the season with the top time in the NCAA in the 500 free at 4:15.43. The meet will be broadcast on ACC.com starting of Thursday through Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Live stats will be available for both prelims and finals.
