TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - For its last dual meet of the 2013-14 season, the Florida State women's swimming and diving teams will host Miami at 3 p.m. at the Bobby E. Leach Center. The Seminoles are 6-2 on the year while the Hurricanes are 0-6.
"This is another time for them to shine," head coach Frank Bradley said. "The women are starting to train faster and they've been doing better in practice, the energy has changed a bit and it will be interesting to see if they swim faster this weekend."
In addition to the women's meet, men's diving will also be taking place however it does not count towards a team score.
"Traditionally Miami has one of the best diving units in the country, but so do we," head diving coach Patrick Jeffrey said. "It's always great to go against them. We've done pretty well throughout the season, but this is by far our most challenging event of the year to date."
Florida State has won 14-consecutive meets against Miami while having a 25-11 advantage over the Hurricanes in the all-times series and holds a 15-straight ACC dual meet winning streak.
