Seminoles Finish Second

Seminoles Finish Second The men's and women's swimming teams finished in second place this weekend at the All-Florida Invite.

Top Times:

100 fly: 49.50

200 fly: 1:51.90

100 free: 46.13

2010-2012: Spent his freshman and sophomore seasons as a member of the Indian River State College Swim Team...earned All-America honors in the 100 and 200 fly as well as the 100 back...contributed to two NJCAA team national championships.

High School: Was a member of the Chamblee High School swim team where he was the runner-up in the 100 fly at the state meet his senior season en route to earning second team all-state honors...broke four school records in the 200 IM, 100 free, 100 fly and 100 back...was freshman of the year at Chamblee and earned two team MVP's...qualified for the NCSA Junior Nationals in the 50 and 100 free, 100 and 200 fly while representing Dekalb Aquatics.

Personal: Born July 3, 1992...son of Normal Mitchell and Colleen Mackie...was in the top ten percent of students at IRSC while making the Dean's List and President's List...graduated from Chamblee High School in 2012 where he was a National Achievement Semi-Finalist...a member of Dekalb Aquatics where he is coached by Melissa Wilborn.
