The 2013-14 FSU women's swimming and diving season showed improvement under first year head coach Frank Bradley.
Madison Jacobi placed ninth in the 1650 free and the 400 free relay took 14th on the final day of the NCAA Championships.
Seniors Julia Henkel and McKayla Lightbourn placed 16th in their individual races at the NCAA Championships.
The 400 medley relay placed 14th at the 2014 NCAA Championships and captured All-America honorable mention accolades.

2013-14: Qualified for her second NCAA Championships and competed in the 50 and 100 free races...helped the Seminoles to a pair of All-America honorable mentions with 14th place finishes in the 400 medley and 400 free relays...helped lower the FSU record in the 400 medley relay...competed in three championship finals at the 2014 ACC Championships placing fifth in the 50 free after earning her spot in the final by ways of a swim-off where she swam a career best...also took seventh in the 100 free and eighth in the 200 free...was a key component on relays all season and at ACC's where she contributed to three medals, three FSU records and three NCAA `A' cuts in those races...grabbed silver on the 200 free relay...helped the Seminoles to bronze in the 800 free relay while setting a new school record en route to an NCAA `A' cut...earned ACC Swimmer of the Week twice throughout the season.
2012-2013: Broke the school record in the 200 free with a time of 1:46.26 as the lead-off leg of the All-American honorable mention 800 free relay that placed 16th at the NCAA Championships...placed 14th in the 100 free at the NCAA Championships...Grabbed the bronze medal at the 2013 ACC Championships in the 100 free en route to earning All-ACC honors...was a part of three FSU record-breaking relays in 2013 that also qualified for the NCAA Championships (200, 400, 800 free relay)...also placed 10th in the 50 free and 13th in the 200 free at ACC's...swam her best times in the 100 free and 200 free at the Georgia Tech Invite.
2011-2012: Made her championship final debut in the 100 free at the 2012 ACC Championship by recording a seventh place finish with a 49.59...took 11th in the 50 free with a 23.01 and also scored points with her 14th place finish in the 100 breast, swimming her best time in prelims at 1:02.86 at ACC's...posted her best time in the 100 free at 49.26 at the Bulldog Invitational...ended her season with an Olympic Trial time in the 50m free at 26.10 at the FSU Club Seminole Spring Invite.
High School:Dressel, a sprint freestyler, has qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 100 free (57.13) and is the fifth best recruit in Florida by collegeswimming.com...was the 2010 2-A Florida High School State Champion representing Clay High School in the 100 Freestyle with a 50.28 and placed second in the 50 Freestyle with a 23.38...swam in the same championship finals as teammates Katie Cook and Grace Hoffman in both the 50 and 100 freestyle...named swimmer of the year in 2010 as "Clay County's Fastest Female"...is a part of the YMCA of Florida's First Coast coached by Shawn Delifus...achieved US Open times in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyle events.
