Sankovich Sinks More Records as FSU Sits in Fourth Place

Pavel Sankovich broke three records after posting a time of 45.86 in the 100 back en route to winning his third gold medal of the meet.

FSU grabs two golds on the final night of ACC's as senior Mateo De Angulo took one in the 1650 free before being named the ACC Swimmer of the Meet. The Seminoles finish fourth overall.

The Seminoles take second and third in the 400 IM tonight as they are just under 50 points away from the team leader Virginia.

Good as Gold

The Seminoles took two gold medals on the second night of competition in the 200 free relay and the 500 free.

Day Two

The Seminoles remain in second place after two days of competition.

100 back: 49.05

100 fly:47.68

100 free: 44.62

2012-2013: Placed 12th in the 100 fly with a time of 48.21 at the ACC Championships...earned a second swim in the 100 free and placed 22nd with a final time of 45.29...tied his career best in prelims at 44.62 in the 100 free at ACC's...also swam the 100 back at ACC's posting a 49.58...appeared in the wins over Georgia Tech, South Carolina and NC State this year for the Seminoles.

2011-2012: Placed ninth in the 100 fly at 47.68 at ACC's...also swam in the bonus heats of the 100 back touching with a 49.05 and the 100 free with a 44.62 at ACC's.

2010-11: Attended Presentation College.

Personal: Born January 2, 1992...son of Wendell and Shirla Lyons...also is a martial artist and gymnast...swam for the Petrotrin Barracudas where he was coached by his father...majoring in Computer Science.
